It seems these days that many sage people are advising others, "You are enough." They are encouraging people to do the inner work necessary to know this and believe it and then go out and live it.
While this advice is well-intentioned, I believe it significantly misses the mark. I believe you are infinitely more than enough. Saying, "You are enough" doesn't begin to come close enough to touch the beauty of your innate inner light and your divine nature as a child of whichever God you honor. It doesn't begin to express the simple purity of being born worthy; seen, recognized and loved by that God. And saying, "You are enough" doesn't begin to illuminate the ALL of who you are. To me, saying and believing we are enough feels mediocre. It feels like we are saying, "I'll do," when we would be so much better off with an inner knowing that exclaims, "I am a brilliant light in this world! A light that is worthy of being seen, admired, respected, honored, treasured and understood, simply as I am." My encouragement to you is to know this truth, to believe it and live it from a much higher place - well beyond 'enough.' Live as the divine light you've been blessed with. It is your birthright.
